Our Story

More than just
an ice treat —
it's a tradition.

Wally's Hawaiian Shave Ice has been a St. Louis neighborhood staple since 1985. What started as a small stand with a passion for authentic Hawaiian-style shave ice grew into something the whole community leans on — summer birthdays, Friday night wins, Sunday drives home.

Every cup is hand-spun right here at our Bayless Avenue spot. No machines doing the work for us — just a block of ice, a sharp blade, and the kind of care you can taste in every bite. We mix our own syrups, rotate our flavors by season, and yes, we still ask every customer what they're in the mood for before we start scooping.
